Did you know that Trentham has been named the Top Tiny Tourism Town in Australia 2025! After winning Victoria’s top prize for towns under 1,500 people in July, Trentham went on to claim the national Gold Award at the Australian Top Tourism Town Awards in September. It’s a testament to Trentham’s natural charm, community spirit, and warmth, making it a must see during your next stay at Cammeray Waters. Only 20 minutes away from our venue and the iconic Pig & Whistle Hotel is on the way so worth a stop to have a drink in front of the many open fireplaces or sit in the amazing kid friendly beer garden during the summer.
If you’re visiting us at the end of March, don’t miss the Lost Trades Fair at Hanging Rock, happening on 28–29 March.
This one-of-a-kind event celebrates traditional crafts and skills, with artisans showcasing everything from blacksmithing and woodworking to leatherwork and textiles. As you explore the fair, you’ll be treated to live demonstrations, music, storytelling, and plenty of delicious food and drink, all set against the stunning backdrop of Hanging Rock.
Hanging Rock is just a short 20-minute drive from Cammeray Waters, so you can easily immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the fair and return to the calm of nature when the day is done.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover something unique and enjoy the rich history of craftsmanship that is so rare to find today.
